Emergency & Priority Service

Emergency Service 24/7

How our SERVICE DEPARTMENT WORKS

AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY SERVICE

At Atmosphere Climate Control, AFTER-HOURS emergency service is reserved for Atmosphere Advantage Comfort Club members and Atmosphere installation customers ONLY. This approach allows our team to respond quickly, provide accurate technical support, and deliver reliable service when help is needed outside normal operating hours.

EMERGENCY SERVICE DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS M-F 8AM-4:30PM

If you’re not currently an Atmosphere Advantage Comfort Club member or an Atmosphere installation customer, we’re still happy to help with scheduled service, diagnostics, or installation quotes during regular business hours— and we’ll walk you through how to join so you can gain priority access going forward.

Emergency service may include situations such as loss of heat during cold weather, system failures impacting health or safety, or urgent HVAC issues occurring outside regular business hours.

ATMOSPHERE ADVANTAGE COMFORT CLUB

As an Atmosphere Advantage Comfort Club member, you receive priority scheduling, emergency service availability, technical support seven days a week, and preferred pricing on diagnostics, repairs, cleanings and on replacement or new equipment. Membership helps ensure continuity of service and faster response when issues arise.

Our Technicians are experienced with most heat pump and HVAC brands, and we take the time to diagnose issues properly, explain what’s happening, and recommend solutions that actually solve the problem.

Before Calling for Heat Pump or Air Conditioning Service

We’ve created a quick checklist to help you troubleshoot common issues before picking up the phone for a service call. Many problems are simple to resolve, and addressing them yourself can save time, money, and the awkwardness of paying for something easy to fix. That said, if you’re ever unsure or uncomfortable performing these checks, it’s always best to call a certified technician for help.

Check the Thermostat

Ensure it’s set to the correct mode (heating or cooling) and temperature. Double-check your settings to avoid any accidental misconfigurations—it’s a surprisingly common issue.

Look for Ice Buildup

If the indoor unit shows signs of ice, turn the system off immediately and check for blocked filters or registers. If the issue persists, call for professional assistance.

Verify the Power Supply

Check your circuit breakers, fuses, and outdoor disconnect switch for any issues. Power fluctuations or tripped breakers can interrupt your system.

Examine Indoor Panel Breakers

Centrally ducted heat pumps often have panel-mounted breakers that may trip. Reset them as needed and ensure they are functioning correctly.

Inspect the Air Filter

Dirty filters can restrict airflow and cause the system to malfunction. Replace or clean them regularly to maintain optimal performance.

Check for Water Overflow

Excess water near the air handler could indicate a clogged condensate line. If comfortable, detach and flush the line; otherwise, call a technician.

Reset Error Codes

For ductless mini-splits, power cycle the breaker (off for 2–3 minutes, then back on) to clear error codes or flashing lights.
